There was ALOT of rain today and some areas had serious flooding. This was outside my classroom window.

My parents, sister, and I went to see Gary Allan at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and it was a great trip and concert. Lots of memories were created...including one of my most embarassing moments in a long time. We'll keep that one a secret.

Poor Lauran sprained her ankle so her students & I have been pushing her around school to get to lunch and recess. We look pretty funny rolling down the hall with 40+ kids behind us.

The Melting Pot with Jessica & her mom...Our food is cooking in the pot. I forgot to get a picture of the best part (the dessert!) because we dug into it so quickly. It was yummy!

One of the teachers at school had his kids make a collage of all the February holidays. I thought it was a pretty creative idea and it made me laugh. Way to go Mr. Burns :)

Kayla started moving her stuff today to her new apartment. As she was cleaning out her bathroom she took down the Javy Lopez collage poster we made together back when we shared a bathroom and we decided to decorate the bathroom with an Atlanta Braves theme. I loved that poster...sad day :(

Day 41
We made a large flip book of the 4 seasons this week and I loved the pictures that this child drew so I posted two pictures so you can see all of her book. I love the hibernating animal in the tree and the girl telling it to "Wake up!"

Day 40
So today had been a good day until one of my students went into my office to stick his two inch pencil into the electric pencil sharpener and got it stuck in there (go figure!). I was pretty upset since I had just bought this one less than a month ago because the other one had stopped working. The kids could tell I was upset so at recess one of the boys drew this on a dry erase board and brought it to show me. He has never drawn me anything so I was surprised and it definitely made me feel better.
