Day 143
My kids had to teach the rest of the class how to do something today. Almost every lesson was some kind of origami (that was way too hard!) or how to draw something. One of the few lessons that was different and well thought-out was a lesson to make a chocolate rose. After the lesson I was given the bouquet of chocolate roses. Very creative! And Stitch likes them too.

Day 131
A couple of classes made these pizza biographies and they are so cute! The kids pick a person to read about, write a report and glue it inside a pizza box, and then decorate pizza pieces with objects that relate to that person's life. These turned out so good and I really want to do this with my class next year.

Day 126
This is my amazing teacher appreciation gift that I got from Emmy. Her and her family took these photos when they went to Washington D.C. a few months ago (it spells out Harmon if you can't see it). On the back is a photo of Emmy & her sister Sabel (who I had in class 2 years ago) and a sweet message. It makes me feel so special :) I love these 2 girls!

Day 125
Our Young Author's Breakfast was today. What a fun & great day but I am EXHAUSTED!! The kids did a great job reading their stories and they seemed like they really enjoyed it. And of course I cried in the middle of talking to the parents. I'm really, really, really going to miss these kids! I am ready for summer break but I definitely don't want to say goodbye to them :(
